I began working with animals when my open-minded veterinarian started sending her patients to me for Reiki treatments. These days I use Matrix Energetics and Sound Therapy as well as Reiki on animals. All these modalities are effective for pets.
Animals respond well to energy medicine. Most pets I have worked with seem to enjoy it (my own cats love it). Without any mental programming to get in the way, animals are able to stay in the moment, receive, and assimilate the vibrational shifts with ease.
Energy medicine is useful for pets with emotional issues (anxiety, grief, depression), old-age ailments (arthritis, endocrine imbalances and loss of vitality), injuries (sprains, cuts, broken bones), infections (Lyme disease, cystitis) and cancer. It is excellent for preparing pets for surgery, and it enhances pets’ recovery from all types of illness and trauma.
What to Expect in Your Pet’s Session
Whenever possible, I will come to you. Or you can bring your pet to me. You are welcome to be present during the session, to reassure your animal companion and to observe and ask questions.
I will take some time to get acquainted with your pet, and establish trust. Depending on the modality I choose (and your pet’s preference about being touched), I’ll either go hands-on or hands-off the body. Your pet might lie down quietly during the session, or need to move around from time to time. Whatever he does is fine. During the session I’ll tell you what I notice and explain what I’m doing.
After the session, we’ll do whatever processing is helpful, and I will give you strategies and tools so that you can support the transformation that has been set in motion.
